This bear is inspired by the foothills of the Appalachians where I live. It shows a glowing sunset, a winding river, mountain silhouettes, and scattered constellations. It is a tribute to the wild places that surround and nurture us.
Helen, my favorite art pieces are always the ones that tell a story or feel like they’re a part of something larger. Your bear is beautiful, and reading your post and seeing the creative way you painted it makes me want to visit the Appalachian mountains again. Thanks for sharing it with us. 🙂
