Bought the pattern! Just finished her in time for jungle theme baby shower this weekend. My clay was rough so as a last resort I mixed plaster of Paris added glue and painted a thick layer on before painting.

That was a great idea for making your elephant smoother. It really worked well. It looks great, and those eyes are amazing! I hope it has a permanent home after the baby shower! It’s beautiful. 🙂
