  1. Amazing work – both of them.

Eyes…hmmm…very hard to get right no matter what the project. I love them though.
They seem to give this little guy a real personality. Personally I would not change them.

    Well done! What’s next I wonder……. πŸ™‚

  2. They are wonderful. That elephant is one of the best. I don’t have any advice on the eyes because I think you are spot on. I never get eyes symmetrical no matter how hard I try. And if you look at animals, you’ll see their eyes aren’t the same. Some comfort, huh? Beautiful.

    • Thanks Rex! That actually is comforting. It’s also comforting that, now i’ve shared the elephant, nobody really seems to notice the’re a little off πŸ™‚
It’s just that the eyes are so important for any sculpture – animal and human faces. So I really want to get them right, though they are a bit larger compared with real elephants, but that’s the way I wanted it. I guess it’s always gonna be a trial-and-error part of the sculpting process πŸ™‚
