We visited the grandchildren in NC last month, and I bought the pattern for the wolf mask. The wolf is Thaida’s (age 12) favorite animal. We had so much fun doing it. I did most of the construction, but she wanted to paint it herself. I think she did a great job. She also ordered a lovely tail to go with the ensemble. She wears it all the time. Went to the grocery store with it on and got five compliments from strangers!
PS: I used rigid wrap to cover the mask. I’ve had a lot of experience with it, and I thought it might do a good job, but it was hard to work with, and I was disappointed. It makes me want to make another one and use newspaper and flour the old fashioned way.
You’re right, Milee – Thaida did a great job painting her wolf mask, and the tail was a great idea, too. I’ll bet you both had a lot of fun making it together. Thanks for showing it to us! 🙂
