I’m so glad I found this site! Thanks Jonni for all the work you put into it! I am honestly blown away by the geometry of the pattern pieces and how everything fits together.
I was feeling a little uninspired for Mardi Gras this year and the Eagle Mask tutorial was exactly what I needed. So easy to follow. I did the initial work on cardstock with masking tape at the joints, covered that with tissue paper and mod podge, and then smoothed everything out with some watered down spackling compound. I only did panels 1-10 of the Eagle mask template so the back could be open for the rest of my headdress. Also my first time using gold leaf on anything and I’m in love! Happy Mardi Gras everyone 🙂
