This is a simple rabbit sculpture made from Jonni’s air dry clay, then painted, then Zendoodle with artist quality markers in various widths. The Zendoodle patterns took longer to do than the actual sculpture! Very meditative though! Zendoodle is very much easier on flat paper than on a curved sculpture.
This will be going to a show in October.

I have started to use zendoodle/zentangle on some of my sculptures but I must say that yours is much more tastefully done than mine! Very beautiful. The rabbit pose is lovely too.
Thanks, I have done several and put them in art shows….they keep selling! I’ve done a hippo inspired by the one Jonni did a tutorial on, and then a cat in an upright sitting pose. Each time, the sculpture itself took less time than the zen doodling. It is fun though and I enjoy doing them.

Very nice! It does look like it would take forever, but I can see how it would be a very calming process. And it is going to be a big hit at the show. Thanks for showing it to us! 🙂
