Made by Jo Cole
Its been really wet here in the UK for the last month, so energy went into creating. I’ve wanted a zebra head for ages, ever since seeing one in the local pub, so finally bit the bullet. I drew a cardboard profile and then padded it out with newspaper and loads of masking tape, before covering with Jonni’s paper clay recipe. Painting was a doddle, just 2 colours! He’s about life size, and threatens to bite me every time I go up the stairs.
perfect stripes andnose, very nice
Very nice!
Brilliant. You are very clever. I am definitely going to give this a try after Christmas x
That is beautiful, and I understand about the coloring. It drives one crazy! Thanks.
Beautiful zebra head! Love it!
I have heard that zebras can be a little cranky. 🙂 Another great sculpture, Jo – I love your work. I can’t wait to see what you make next.
