Funny little guy! Cardboard armature, armature wire covered with Magic Sculpt for legs. Eyes, nose and tail are also epoxy clay. The body was filled with newspaper and masking tape and covered with paper strips. So this is a Jerboa.
Pat, What’s a Jerboa? An adorable, little paper mache creature apparently.
Love it!
Clearly perfect balance < Great job getting that pose to stand. I love his ears!
Thanks Lee. His rear has a rock on either side to keep the weight in the back. Jerboas have big ears and that’s why I chose to make it.
His tail helps but I had to cut 2 holes in his rear and insert a rock on each side to give more weight in the back.
Really sweet. Love the paint job!
Does he stand on his own two feet? How do you do that? His tail maybe? I have trouble with that.
