Olivia, Your sculpture is beautiful! You really captured the likeness of a Fiddian-Green work, but with your own feel to it. Perfect! Keep up the great work!
Beautiful sculpture. What talent!
Hi.
The effect was created by painting the whole head in black acrylic paint; a layer of gold acrylic was roughly applied followed by a dark and then light green. The greens were applied using a sponge brush. A very wet white was then stippled over the greens and sprayed with water and taken back off using a paper towel. Additional gold was added where the hand may have rubbed the horses head. Each layer was dried before the next was applied.
The process came from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljdlI7OS-EQ
Thanks, Olivia! 🙂
Beautiful Job Olivia! Keep going with your art and try lots of art forms, experiment and have fun.

Your sculpture is beautiful, Olivia. We would love to know how you achieved that wonderful green finish. It looks just like old bronze. Would you like to share your secret? 🙂
