What an interesting painting, Leslie! Did you have any trouble with the paper mache clay cracking or trying to come loose from the canvas?
So I built him up by using the tinfoil masking tape method I saw you use on one of your armatures videos so he’s stuck down pretty good, I then coated him with the paper clay and waited a few days for him to dry, there were a CPL of cracks but I ultimately left them as they kinda have him more character, I then made a pva gesso mixture and coated him throughly, then applied acrylic paint the dollar sign is from some costume glasses and his whiskers are strips of wire I hot glued both on but he’s as solid as a rock now.
