My boss is a BIG supported of the “University of Memphis” – the “Tiger” is their mascot. Office walls needed some art work!! . “Recycled” old manila folders for the form and then use “recycled” printer paper boxes for the body (paper side) & fur (corrugated part). Enlarged the pattern just a little (or as big as office printer would let me.) Used watered down Elmer’s glue. and then finally painted w/ acrylic paints . Fun project!!

Very soulful! I’m originally from Memphis, so I especially love this .
Love this! The whole process is a very creative use of materials! Great job!
MaryLouise, your tiger is beautifully done. The use of corrugated cardboard for the cheek ruff and eyebrows was a brilliant idea, and the painting is really nice. What a great way to liven up the office. 🙂
