This is the 3rd unicorn head I’ve made using the paper clay from this site. I’ve really enjoyed it.
I used plastic carrier bags cardboard and foil to create the shapes and covered in masking tape before adding the paper clay. Once dry used a very thin layer of the dry wall joint and lightly went over it with a wet 2” paint brush. This one is for my granddaughter the others I gave to friends little girls. Think I will try something different now it’s so easy to do and very enjoyable. Thank you for your site I’m so glad I came across it there are some fab animal heads I want to try the rabbit head next from this site
This is definitely a little girl’s unicorn. The colors and flowers really add a nice touch. Good job! Please keep doing PM and share it with us.
I love the star shaped sparkles on her muzzle and the eyelashes. Very nice .
Yes, she will be a happy girl. Years ago when I first began paper mache, I made a unicorn for the vet’s daughter. She said she wanted a pink and gold one, and “Oh, with a wreath of flowers in her mane.” Her father was having a heart attack, but I am with you 100% on this one. Sparkles and everything! Thanks.
Not a wreath, sorry. Flowers like you did here! (Too hot today to think!)
She is going to be one happy little girl! She will love the pink hair and sparkles! Nice work!
