Time traveling ?

Made by Pedro / Mr P

Hello everybody from Portugal 🙂 It’s been a while, hope you’re all doing fine!

Last time I wrote to Jonni I flooded her email box with photos of a character I had created. Its Mr P and Mr P is an early 18th century Portuguese artist.

His quest is to share his own idea of how Portugal was within that era and he does it through painted portraits, bust sculptures, period food miniatures and all with contemporary materials (plastics, miliput, cardboard, paper and our beloved paper clay (either home made or bought, like DAS)

Here its getting sunny finally and I’ve been able to work on paperclay sculpture BUT its not what I’ve proposed myself to publish here today.

Jonni I hope you forgive Mr P boldness on trying to portray you within his early 18th century fashion and, of course, for publish it here (although its acrylic on paper !!).

So you can see that basically Mr P is a portraitist and not only through painting as every artworks he produces, it portrays Portugal during and before 1720!

Hope you like it, eh eh eh.

Your friend(s) from Portugal,

Pedro / Mr P
