Tiger Eyes

Made by John Sharp

This tiger face is not made of paper (it’s paperbark eucalyptus) but I wanted to show how his eyes turned out. I used clear, round glass flattened “marbles” that you can buy to decorate aquariums or terrariums. I painted the pupils and the green background on crumpled and flattened aluminum foil and glued it to the glass. This was a Lunar New Year decoration a couple of years ago, for Year of the Tiger.
