The Lion King – Young Nala

Made by Ana Silva

My daughter needed a costume to display her play of the Lion King. I researched some sites to buy one, but found nothing available, so I decided to make one out of paper mache. I had never done anything like this, I bought the molds from Ultimate paper mache and followed the instructions. I confess that it was not easy precisely because I have no skills as a craftswoman and neither with brushes. I didn’t give up, I made a mistake in the way of doing it several times, but I stopped and repeated the process until it looked like the model. Now it is ready and I am very happy and grateful to be able to make my daughter’s costume. I loved the result, I am very proud.
