The Hound

Made by Connie Kulow

The hound was made from plastic grocery bags, masking tape, paper mache clay, acrylic paint and varnish. I have now completed the kennel for all of our grandkids. Now I just need to fill up Santa’s sleigh and off they go!!!!

  1. Thanks Rex. It sure feels good that all the holiday dogs are finished before the end of October! Now, comes the fun part in packing and shipping them to Tennessee, Ohio and Colorado. I appreciate your advice about packing and shipping! I told Jonni that I’m ready to make another full size horse and one extra dog (to be donated for a great cause auction). I just have to decide what kind of dog. Leroy keeps saying “make me, make me”, but I just say…. “oh please”……. and roll my eyes.

    • Well Leroy is usually right, but I would make a miniature pinscher, the problem being they are not that popular! Just give him an extra pat and treat.

    • Oh this guy is PERFECT on the floor by your bed, in a corner of the kitchen, or fireplace (or any place!).

      • Thanks Jane! He is one of seven hounds going to the grandkids as a surprise. I have been really busy making the kennel of dogs for them and I’m betting that most of them will end up on the floor by their bed.

  2. He’s one of my favorites. I absolutely love the look on his face.

And October isn’t even over yet. Congratulations, and great job.
