I wanted to make something in the spirit of a Mexican alebrije . I made a few sketches and then got to work . As I progressed it changed quite a bit from my original sketch , but I am happy with the result . It is paper mache on a wood , wire and cardboard frame . The teeth were done with acrylic polymer clay . The cookie is paper mache with clay chocolate chips . The paint job is acrylic paint and dimensional paint .
This is adorable! I often find that projects tend to take on their own look being different from my original plan but I’m always happy with the outcome.
A creature with a cookie! I love it. 🙂
