Starfish meets patina equals omg!

Made by Carol Brown

Jonni, the minute I saw your tutorial for this, I knew I had to recreate it. I used the usual cardboard and foil armature and Modern Masters Copper and green patina. The primer is not necessary if you are not using metal. I’m looking forward to making more sculptures using the patina finish, perhaps a sea horse or octopus? Maybe a salmon, very popular in my area. Thank you so much, again, for sharing.

  1. Wow! I love this. I’m such a fan of weathered copper but am not a welder. Voila!! Jonni, your paper mache recipes are SOOO versatile. Thank you for sharing.
