I used Jonni’s moose head pattern for this – printed at 50%. Worked great! The only changes I made to her directions were to use cardboard cereal boxes instead of corrugated cardboard for neck and antlers and to use alum foil ball for eyes and nose instead of foam balls. I tried painting it with acrylics but eventually ended up using a bronze metallic paint from a spray can that I picked up at the local hardware store. He’s just about 2 feet tall.

Great idea, Joanne! And I like the metallic paint – it gives him a vintage look. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
