Hi Jonni,
The neck scales are squares of slightly hardened paper Mache that I attached with glue and molded to the contour I needed. It’s not perfect as far as scales go… I normally see uniform scales but I’m not a uniform type person :-).
I’m a little worried about hanging it because of the weight. I think something a little stronger on the back might be in order.
