Two weeks ago, Joanne Gee showed us her Celluclay self-portrait and a series of masks that were almost done – but still not painted. Now all of the pieces are finished, and Joanne offered to let us see how they came out. You can see her previous post here.

According to Joanne, this” is an example of an armature in progress – this will be a bust portrait in clay. All that’s needed to do now is to finish the plaster bandaging, letting it dry and then if I want to add to it I can – like in this case I made the shoulders too shallow so I will add them when this is dry. Then I will add the clay to it.”
THANKS JAN – I GUESS YOU KNOW THESE TAKE A LOT OF TIME AND EFFORT AND POSITIVE COMMENTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.
Wow, I liked it just white but what an amazing paint job! Really well done project!
