Made by Teri Whitridge
My husband, Roger, and I made a scary face and arm for our tree this year. The face has a foil base covered with paper mache clay. The arm and hand have a wire and foil base. We made glass eyes and used wood chips for teeth. I did the grunt work and my talented husband did the detail work and painting. We were quite pleased with the way it turned out.

That looks brilliant. I’m currently making Treebeards/Ent faces for trees to put up around our local area so that young and old can keep an eye out for them.
I think “terrifying” might be a better description of this guy. He scares me, just looking at the photo! I’d love to see how people reacted when they first saw him. 🙂
