This is one of 16 lions I’ve been creating for a primary school performance. It’s the ‘Scar’ headdress pattern from the Lion King pattern set. I adjusted it so it will be worn on the chest/stomach, and the jaw can move to make them roar!!

What a great lion! I love the way you used the yarn and raffia together for the mane – and those big teeth and the opening jaw are amazing. I hope you’ll let us know how you got that realistic texture in the tongue, too! With masks like that, the school’s performance is sure to be a huge success. 🙂
