Made by Jenifer Mugler
This is my very first attempt at papier mâché. I am an artist of many mediums, and once I joined a group on FB, I jumped in with both feet! I started off using a Styrofoam head to get my basic shape. After removing the Styrofoam, I used backer rod, masking tape, foam sheets, flour and water mix, plus joint compound mix. I did include some air-dry clay in a few areas to get the appearance I was looking for. I used acrylics to paint, and then top coated all with a gloss clear coat. I used a plastic Easter egg, to get the shape of the eyes. I wanted to make sure they had the curve and wasn’t just flat. I hope you enjoy looking at him as much as I do!!! I was going to sell him, but I just might keep him! 🙂

Harry looks great! A job very well done:)
Jenifer, he’s definitely a keeper! What a great sculpture – thanks for sharing it with us. 🙂
