Rescued and loved cat

Made by Carolyn Eramo

This is my very first paper mache sculpture. I did him from a picture in my head. He was so much fun to make. His core is a empty paper towel tube. Also used was newspaper, paper towels and aluminum foil and lots of love. Also, paper mache clay. He was made for my niece who owns a beautiful rescue named Kodak. My niece is a artist that’s been featured in her own gallery shows. I hope you like him. It took me a few weeks to complete and at first I thought, what makes you think you can do this. I encourage anyone who wants to do this to go for it. My next sculpture is a horse.

  1. That is a special sculpture. I love the way the cat looks forward and the posture. The horse is well on its way. Great.

  2. Terrific job on your first project! Now you know …. you CAN do it!! Your cat is adorable. I love the big eyes and the marking on the body. You already have a great start on the horse too! Keep having fun!
