Using your mouse King pattern I increased the file size then got rid of the crown and neck cover to turn it into a mask (helmet as my 4 year old calls it.)
I added air dry clay around the nose and eyes to smooth out some of the more boxy features then painted him.
I used him as a costume to be Master Splinter from the teenage mutant ninja turtles because my son was dressed as one of the turtles Michaelangelo.
It was my first time doing anything like this and I could only work on it for about an hour at a time every day so it took me about 3 weeks.
I plan on making a beard, mustache and furry eyebrows out of yarn.
Devin, your rat mask really turned out nice. I like the way you’ve made it so you can see out, but without those areas standing out. What type of material did you use to cover the eye holes?
I used a plastic sun screen from my car that I had replaced. Then used air dry clay to blend it in with the rest of the mask and painted over it. I need to add super glue to where the clay and the screen didn’t adhere to each other.
