This figure is 10 inches tall. I started by building a wire frame covered with aluminum foil and tape then “painted” with acrylic gesso.
Finished with air dry Paper Mache paste, after drying I applied a mixture of white glue, calcium carbonate and a small amount of gesso to smooth the surface and then proceed to paint it.
Orlando, another beautiful piece. I love that you can create emotions with what you do.
(On the silly side, I thought you could have saved yourself a lot of work by making her dress solid all the way to the bottom, but it wouldn’t have been the same at all.) I am really impressed. Thanks very much.
