Paper mache portrait

Made by Liam Brown

This is a paper mache portrait i made of my late grandfather Aubrey, I used Jonnis original paper clay recipe. I made a paper mache skull to base it on. I used the balls out of roll on deodorants for the eyes as they are life size. His hair was made from wool tops, I varnished his moustache and eyebrows and side burns to stiffen them up a bit. Also I painted him with oil paints and glasses his eyes with clear nail varnish. He also has acrylic teeth although not visible in these pictures.
