I made a hat for the Kentucky Derby Hat contest. I used the horse pattern, then mixed the clay up with black napkins, glued the horse to my cowboy hat then sanded, painted and decorated it!! I used REAL HORSE HAIR for the mane!!

Unfortunately I did not even place in the top 15. We race horses for a giving so I took hair from all our racers. The hat named Charlie, is now our mascot ?
