Made by May Sheppard
Solid as a roc with Australian product called ‘Plaster Mate’. Paper and a sponge sandwich board internal armature. A shape of the fish and ovals (drawn on computer) representing each roundish part of the fish are made out of the sponge sandwich board and then slots made in the ovals and fish shape and that all put together. Then masking tape, and finally the Plaster Mate. Not finished in this photo it will sit on a stick and wooden stand – called a ‘Fish on a Stick’.
Beautiful fish. Your paint job is impeccable! I have made 7 fish. There is such a variety to choose from. Good job!
Absolutely exquisite. So different and original.
Beautiful work!
I agree with Eileen. It is very pretty and well painted.
Very pretty! While the sculpt was impeccable, the painting even more so! Well done!
