    • I know! I love Jonni’s concrete recipe. We can actually make outdoor art without spending a lot of money. I know it’s still a bit experimental, but so far so good.

    • Thanks Lisa. The shell was a paper armature like you’d expect from a Paper Mache project. I did the paint job with my brother who is fabulous with color. He slapped pinks, blues and greens onto it and somehow made it work with the other colors I had chosen.

  2. Wow – with a sculpture that size, and those LED snail eyes, I can see how it could turn into a tourist attraction! He’s not quite as big as your tiger or gorilla, but he definitely makes a statement. Has your brother given his snail a name yet? 🙂

    • His kids named him Tosk, after a character from Star Trek – Deep Space Nine. The character was a lizard man so the kids thought a snail was close enough lol.
