This is a fun project that I started quite a while ago and has somehow slipped through the cracks. I documented the “making of” and even started a tutorial but life tends to get in the way of fun sometimes. Here are some progress shots.
It’s my version of the classic werewolf monster turning during a full moon. Made entirely from scratch. I tried a multi-textured paint scheme on this one rather than just covering it in hair. I wanted him to look as if he’s been around a long time. He’s been burnt, he’s got some scars and battle damage and even some bullet holes that have since healed. I tried some new things courtesy of Jonni’s site. Her teachings have been an invaluable resource.
Whoah – this is a very different take on the werewolf story, and it’s delightfully scary! Leaving the pupils out of the eyes really adds to the effect! Your work is always amazing.
If you do ever have time to finish that tutorial, we’d love to see it. 🙂
