Had fun creating this mask for my son’s dressup for bookweek! I decided to put a pirate patch over one eye to create the “one eye” as per wonky donkey book and means i could use in future for another donkey costume. I tried on the mask when it was just cardboard and it fit fine but ended up being a little small after the paper mache x 2 and then plaster and paint. I just made a small incision up the back alongside the mane so it wasnt noticeable and then it fit fine. Attached the underchin elastic with hot glue and it held fine. Really enjoyed this project and can’t wait to do another one!
