News from my wild clay kiln-less firing: This took a while because my fuel (cow dung) got wet in a monsoon rain and the fire did not get hot enough, so all my pots and the pony came out black with carbon stains. Refiring could only happen now, after everything had thoroughly dried out. But: I’m very happy with this final successful firing. And everything rings like a bell, too

They do look really nice, Margarethe. I can imagine this being an art form that could get addictive – Is there a book about no-kiln firing that you can recommend?
no book – there probably is one – but I am following Andy Ward’s site : https://ancientpottery.how/, a great series of youtube videos. From there, I experiment
Thanks, Margarethe! I’ll check out that site. 🙂
