This little guy was inspired by a photo of a vintage ornament and is the first completed project using your papier maché clay recipe. He started life as a small ball of paper clippings wrapped in grocery flyers then covered in clay. The box was resurrected from a cereal box and paper layering. Additional materials include fabric, lace and ribbon scraps combined with beads, paint and a bit of glitter, and a scrap of snowman wrapping paper lining the inside of the box. “Making treasure out of trash one piece at a time.”

That is clever and cute. Everybody needs a trinket box. You have creativity, and I hope you show us the Santa when he’s finished. Thanks.
