Boy! What a challenge! I normally spin art yarn which is quite forgiving. This project, however, has to be precise or it’s very difficult to put together. Once i got past the taping, I started having fun and am also working on a second piece. So, my advice to anyone… Go Wild! Take a risk and above all, be creative! Life is too short to just be ‘another brick in the wall’. 🙂

I do spin yarn. My website is BlackSheepFiberGoods.com. There’s so much you can do with art yarns: dreadlocks, highland cows, scarves and the usual garments, cone-christmas trees.. I’ve seen a lot of great ideas! After seeing a cow with dreadlocks from my art yarn, I decided I had to give that a go. I think I’m hooked because I’m now working on a dragon. She’s in the UK and I’ve been ordering locks from her for several years and never been disappointed in her work! Shipping can take a couple weeks but her prices compared to others are worth the wait. In addition to her website, she also sells through Etsy.
