I just love this piece! the papers to cover the final really make it extra special and your title is perfect! Wonderful!
Thanks so much. Mr Hare won First place in the 2021 Fiber show at the Kerrville Arts & Cultural Center. I was proud of him.
He is lovely and “arty” and I absolutely adore his expression. What a wonderful piece of work.
Thank you so much, Linda. I’m so happy he’s made you smile. I hope to do more characters like Mr. Hare in near future. My best, Bonnie

Oh WOW
This guy is absolutely wonderful! Well done to you for your creativity.
I would never have thought to do this but it works so well. What a character!
Well Done
Sweet bunny with tons of character! I love the way you finished him with the checkered papers. Neat idea and it turned out so well!
The checkered papers were used as a referral to the story of his life. It was fun to create and I appreciate your thoughts and kind comments.
He’s wonderful, Bonnie. We would love to hear the story that goes with him! 🙂
Mr. Hare was born with a wild streak. He was notorious throughout the English countryside for ransacking the local farmer’s gardens, eating his way through their produce. When a ransom was put on his head, he headed for London where by chance he wandered into the most famous gardens of all, the Queen’s. He was met by the young Princess who befriended him. They became best friends and played in the gardens every day. He was taught table manners and soon became quite the refined hare. He dined only on the finest fresh sweet pears, honey- glazed carrots, and rare varieties of lettuce. He lived happily ever after and seldom recalled his checkered past.
