Meet Fletch

Made by Connie Kulow

Fletch, the beagle, is a Christmas gift for my dear friend, whose last name is Fletcher. Fletch was made from plastic grocery bags, cardboard rolls from paper towels for the legs, and paper mache clay. I purchased a red dog collar and ordered a special dog tag with his name engraved on it. I know that Fletch will love his new home. Shhhh, it’s a secret. Ho Ho Ho

  1. Another great dog. I hope LeRoy is keeping everyone in line there. Fletch will be a great gift, and I won’t tell. I keep thinking I need a LeRoy around here to keep control of things. Thanks, Connie. Guess we’ll try and walk even though it is only 20. Seems extra cold this morning. We saw a carp frozen in the canal. Don’t know if your bear would like that one.

    • Shiver me timbers. Now that is a chilly walk! Carp? Hmmmm, will need to add it to Bart’s menu! Leroy is definitely in charge of this house. He wasn’t happy with the squirrel though. Wait until he sees the raccoons that are in his future!

      • I’m going to side with Leroy on the raccoons! I used to love them until Loki (my other dog) came screaming in through the doggie door, the raccoon on his tail. I locked the raccoon in the room until he had sense enough to go back out, meanwhile Loki was bleeding from front to rear. However, I still can’t wait to see yours. (I had a friend who used to feed them, and he had dogs. They all got along together great, so we might have to educate Leroy. Good luck.)

  3. Hi Connie. I know Fletch’s new owner will love him, but he’ll miss all his friends at your house. How many have you made, so far? Are you keeping track? 🙂

    • Hi Jonni! Let’s see…. my family has grown with two dogs, a cat, a fox, one rabbit, a squirrel, a black bear and his catfish, a doe, and a horse with her foal. Then I made a basket of puppies, a unicorn, and the beagle as gifts. Fourteen so far. Everyone is going to miss Fletch, but I suspect my husband will miss him the most. I know, I know……. somebody is going to get a puppy.
