My family and I are having weekly Sunday zoom calls during this isolating time, this week’s theme is Walt Disney. We’re having such a great time sharing our arts and crafts. To be honest, I had forgotten how quirky and creative my family are, with my parents leading the way!
Here is my Mandrill, which I had such a fantastic time creating and painting.
Enjoy checking out my version of Rafiki!

Love the texture on this guy! I keep going back to look again. It makes your piece a true artistic expression. I love it!
Hi Jonni,
I crumpled up kitchen absorbent paper and applied the wood glue at the paper mache stage.

Interesting – thanks, Cynthia!
Hi Cynthia – thanks for showing us your Rafiki headdress mask. How did you make the fur on his forehead? I really like that texture. What’s your secret? 🙂
Hi Jonni,
I crumpled up kitchen absorbent paper and used a brush to apply wood glue over it.
Thanks, Cynthia
