Lion King Kids

Made by School Nurse

All three hyenas were so much fun to put together. The kiddos would stop by the clinic daily to check on their progress and try them on 🙂

I loved that you included the teeth and jaw patterns. I made each headdress with their own unique face.

We have littles in elementary and middle school. Because of the ages, we chose to do Lion King Kids rather than Lion King Junior. There were FIVE rafiki’s in the show acting as the story tellers.

  1. They are at my house for the moment. Not sure of their future use as of yet 🙂 I put a lot of time and love into making them and I did not want them thrown into a box in a dark room somewhere 🙂

    • You’re right – that would be very sad. I gave the Lion King masks I made to our local community theater – at least they got to be used once. I don’t know what happened to them after that. Maybe you could ‘rent’ yours to other schools that need masks, but don’t have any volunteers to make them. 🙂

  2. I love those crazy characters that you’ve given the hyenas, and your Rafikis are really nice! The students will never forget the experience of wearing your wonderful masks, and I know they must really appreciate the work you’ve done on them. What will happen to all those masks after the play is over?
