This light up moon was made with round piece of cardboard I used masking tape to cover it then made jonni’s papermache clay added one thin layer back and front then I let it dry once dried I took Elmer’s glue added little water and used paper towel sheets to give it texture and made the indentation and circles then I let it dry painted it with grey black and white paint added Matt varnish and just bought a light strip from Amazon.

Hi Starr. I don’t know if Edwin has a pattern to share – he did tell us how he made the moon, though, so it should be possible to come close to it if you make one of your own.
Hi Edwin – your moon lamp looks so real! And it’s really dramatic with the light around the edges. How big is it?
Thanks Jonni its 42inches it’s large but using ur paper machete clay recipe just one thin layer it’s light weight and really durable I can’t wait to finish it
