Made by D. Bakeri
It’s the first time I work on a sculpture of this size. Using an armature made of only cardboard without reinforcement was a bad idea, one of the front legs broke and I had to repair it with additional paperclay which made one of the leg thicker than the other. I’m happy how the face came out though. The fur texture was made by smearing join compound and doing small strokes with a silicon tool. On the pictures the surface seems to appear very glossy. It more matte in person.

Your an inspiration! I love your dog he is perfect. I have wanted to make one of our dog, but sitting. Now have to work out how to do curls, she is a Curly coated Retriever.
