I wanted to be the blue derpy tiger from Kpop Demon Hunters for Halloween with my daughter who was Rumi. I used Jonni’s tiger pattern enlarged 300%. I printed it at a local shop on A4 paper and IT WAS HUGE! But, the bigger the better, right? HAHA
My plan was to somehow strap it to my body like a baby carrier but it came down to the wire so I just carried it and it was amazingly fun and got so much attention. People took pictures with me! I glued the clear zip ties on at like 5:25 p.m. and we left to trick or treat at 5:30 p.m.
This project was so incredibly fun for me. As someone who has struggled with undiagnosed ADHD my entire life (newly diagnosed at 45!) and I’ve always loved the extreme focus that a craft project brings me, this created so much joy in my life. I even got glow in the dark paint for the eyes. It was so fun and now we are snowed in and we are making Jonnie’s fox and lion mask (NOT ENLARGED) for my kids.
I think Jonni is an absolute genius. Bless her!
