For the Jewish holiday of Purim, we tell the story of the brave Queen Esther and have a big feast. We dress up in costumes, traditionally portraying the characters of the story. We like to get silly and have fun. The stupid King Ahoshverous in my costume is Ahashverous Rex- a silly man with the head of a T-Rex wearing a cardboard crown. No teeth, he’s not scary.

That sounds like a great way to celebrate the day, and a toothless dino is a fitting way to show off the character’s personality. But now you have me thinking about that crown – the ‘rex’ in the dino’s name means King, of course, but I never made the connection before. 🙂
