Jackalope Wall Sculpture

Made by K.Leigh Walker

Finally finished my Jackalope. He’s been in the works for nearly 3 years now. I would work on it randomly every few months. I had originally planned on making his antlers Sakura tree branches complete with cherry blossom flowers, but in the end went with a more “traditional” colour scheme.
Made with Jonni’s Jack Rabbit pattern, slightly altered the jawbone with paper clay as I made it and added antlers using scrap wiring.

Thanks for the wonderful patterns and recipes!

  2. What a sweet face! Thanks so much for showing it to us – I have a soft spot for the species, since I’m originally from jackalope country. We used to see them all the time. 🙂
