My Daughter came up with this idea for her yearly Renaissance fair costume. I had a week to design and come up with a plan. I have never done paper mache but always wanted to explore this art medium. I came across Jonni Good, her inspiring website and youtube videos. After watching tons of videos I jumped into making the Rabbit mask and transforming it into the Jackalope for her costume. Every step was fun and a learning experience. The most fun was painting it and bringing it to life. She also was able to help me with my guidance. I look forward to making more from Jonni’s collection! Also, Jonni was helpful in some suggestions when I emailed her with some questions.
