I want to see more. I love the color you used, and the creativity into making him. Nice view from the castle. Thank you. Love dragons.
Grazie Rex, è stato molto divertente realizzarlo e portarlo in cima al castello, molti si sono fatti delle belle risate, l’interno é realizzato completamente con materiali di riciclo. Come e dove posso mandare altre foto, sempre qui? A presto, Francesca
Francesca, your dragon looks like he’s defending his castle. It’s beautiful. What materials did you use to make it?
Hi Jonni!! Thank you so much for your comment! I’m very happy. I’ve maked this work last year and I’ve used these materials: for the skeleton of the dragon I used a stick to which I anchored plastic bottles and crumpled newspaper balls to make the shape of the animal. The structure of the head is made with a box of heart-shaped cardboard chocolates that I divided into two parts and paper for the cheeks. The crest is made with plastic inserts inserted in papier-mâché. The dragon’s skin is made of layers of newspaper soaked in water and vinyl glue, the cheekbones, nail details and muscles are made from a mixture of newspaper soaked in water and glue shakes. I colored the work with acrylics and tempera paints. See you soon, Francesca!
I love it – both the dragon and your creative use of materials. Thanks, Francesca. What do you intend to make next?
Hi Jonni! ho preparato un barbagianni di cui presto ti manderò la foto, la texture è bella perchè ho rivestito il corpo con la cartaigienica spennellata di colla vinilica per cui risulta resistente ma soffice, a presto!
