Il drago di Acquafredda

Made by Francesca Porcu

Hello! I’m Francesca from Cagliari, Sardinia. I do this dragon for a medieval lesson in Acquafredda castle. It was very funny, thank you Jonny for your inspiration?

Come e dove posso mandare altre foto, sempre qui? A presto, Francesca

    • Hi Jonni!! Thank you so much for your comment! I’m very happy. I’ve maked this work last year and I’ve used these materials: for the skeleton of the dragon I used a stick to which I anchored plastic bottles and crumpled newspaper balls to make the shape of the animal. The structure of the head is made with a box of heart-shaped cardboard chocolates that I divided into two parts and paper for the cheeks. The crest is made with plastic inserts inserted in papier-mâché. The dragon’s skin is made of layers of newspaper soaked in water and vinyl glue, the cheekbones, nail details and muscles are made from a mixture of newspaper soaked in water and glue shakes. I colored the work with acrylics and tempera paints. See you soon, Francesca!
