Well it was my first attempt at paper mache and paper mache clay so I had a lot of fun. This is now up in our village… scarecrows for the Jubilee is an odd British village thing! 🙂

Hi, love the Queen and horse scarecrows! You wouldn’t happen to live in a little village in Cumbria would you? Great for the Jubilee event! Did you win a prize?
Congratulations on your first paper mache project!
The horse head came out beautiful.
The mane looks like real hair. Is it? Great job!
Hi Pat. I used hair extensions which were quite easy to apply and then paper mache clay over.
How eerily clever! The horse head is beautiful. Did you also do the face and hands of the scarecrow? I’m assuming it is a younger version of the queen???
Thank you! I did her face but her hands are just rubber gloves over gardening gloves. Hands were a step too far!
