These horses are making their debut in Handel’s opera Rinaldo. They will be pulling a golden chariot. I bought the zebra pattern but the head was too small for my purpose. So I took the horse sculpture and put it on the zebra’s cap. For the mane, I rolled cardboard into several small 2” cylinders and attached them in a row to one side of the neck flange to give the crochet thread some elevation. If I were to do it again, I might add a second row of slightly smaller cardboard cylinders. I am very happy how they turned out. Thank you Jonni, your patterns are great.
