We added sand glued to the feet as though he had come from the beach. His eyelashes came from the dollar store. His eyes are glass crystals bought cheaply and the color is added on the back of the crystals.

Hi Maxine – your elephant is wonderful – he looks right at home hanging out with his friend the giraffe. The special features you mentioned are really nice, but I’m especially drawn to the tuft of fur on the end of his tail. A small detail, but perfect. 🙂
